Our Alpha cooker uses time-honoured concepts such as heat storage & distribution for cooking & hot water and provides cosy warmth for the kitchen at the heart of the Irish home. These themes remain unchanged and echo-back to a bygone age.

The Alpha marries these tried and trusted foundations with individual control of the thermostat and timer systems for the cooker and boiler oil burners. These controls are easily managed and make the most efficient use of your fuel oil; an important consideration in today’s economic climate.

Efficient yes, but also a real giant of a range - The Alpha weighs-in at over half a tonne and has a maximum output of 44kWhs – sufficient for heating up to 28 standard radiators. The combined boiling and simmering hotplate in in the unique “figure of eight” formation gives an unparalleled cooking surface and the two ovens are the largest in this class of range cooker.

GMH offers this cooker in a large selection of enamel colours and with the choice of enamelled or chrome finished hot plate covers. All cookers in the Alpha range consume 17.4kW for oven power and there are three boiler burner variants that dictate total consumption versions of 80 thousand, 120 thousand and 150 thousand BTUs.
